ComPower Society is a youth-led community-based foundation driven by a mission to empower, uplift, and transform lives across Kenya—starting from the grassroots. Founded with compassion and purpose, ComPower (short for Community Power) believes that real change begins with ordinary people coming together to serve humanity. Our work is rooted in the values of dignity, equity, and shared responsibility.
At the heart of ComPower Society is the strong desire to support vulnerable and underprivileged groups, especially street children, orphans, and low-income families. We provide both direct assistance and long-term support through initiatives such as food drives, clothing donations, school outreach, and shelter visits. These efforts not only bring relief but restore hope in places where it's often lost.
A key pillar of our organization is youth and women empowerment. We organize forums, training workshops, mentorship programs, and livelihood projects aimed at equipping young people and women with practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to become independent and impactful leaders in their communities.
We also run seasonal campaigns such as the Pad Drive, where we distribute sanitary products to schoolgirls in rural and marginalized areas. This simple but powerful initiative helps to keep girls in school, fight stigma, and promote dignity in menstrual health. In 2025, we will hold a major Pad Drive in Olkalau, reaching hundreds of girls with not just pads, but also education and encouragement.
ComPower is actively involved in visiting children's homes and special institutions, like the upcoming visit to Heaven's Eye Children Home in August 2025. These visits create moments of joy, care, and connection—reminding every child that they matter. During such visits, we deliver food, toiletries, and emotional support while also identifying areas where long-term help is needed.
As a foundation, we believe in community engagement. We don't just deliver aid—we build networks of trust. Through clean-up campaigns, forums, school visits, and health awareness sessions, we bring people together to take ownership of their environment and social well-being. We empower individuals to be part of the solution.
Partnerships play a big role in how we operate. ComPower Society seeks strong, lasting relationships with corporates, local leaders, churches, schools, and businesses who believe in collective impact. We are currently seeking partners to support and walk with us in our programs—financially, logistically, and through mentorship and visibility.
We also run internal capacity-building by empowering our own members. Young volunteers are given roles in project planning, leadership, public speaking, and organizing events. This makes ComPower not just a charity group, but a training ground for the next generation of servant leaders in Kenya.
ComPower Society is also guided by structure and accountability. We have a leadership board, committed members, and a growing network across different counties. Everything we do is documented and measured for impact, and we are working towards full registration and expansion across the country.
In all our work, we hold firm to one motto: "Together for Humanity." Whether it's a simple meal, a pad, a warm hug, or an open door—we believe that small acts of love can change lives forever. That's the ComPower way.
We appreciate your interest in Compower Society and look forward to working together to make a difference in our communities.
